SYM: Engine of Life
Sanyang Industry Co., Ltd. (SYM brand),

Sanyang Industry Co., Ltd. (SYM brand), one of the top-two PTW manufacturers in Taiwan and a major global brand with production facilities in Taiwan, mainland China, Vietnam, and Indonesia, will participate the annual event for the first time to promote its high-quality products with global buyers.

According to SYM, it will display most of its export product models made in Taiwan and mainland China factories, presenting a wider price range for global buyers' different needs. The company also wants to further solidify its brand image with the largest motorcycle on the island by showcasing its full range of new models premiered at the EICMA 2007 in Milan, Italy.

As the show is expected to attract both international and local visitors, SYM will also display some of its major PTW models for the domestic market, including some best-sellers so far in 2008 and maybe some remodeled prototypes for the 2009 model-year.

For the showcasing of some models produced by its factories in mainland China, SYM points out that these products are often priced lower than Taiwan-made models, making them ideal choices for buyers from developing markets such as countries in Southeast Asia, Latin America etc.

Other models to be included in the SYM's eye-catching displays will include the Citycom.300 luxury scooter, QuadRaider 600cc ATV, Orbit city scooter etc.

The Orbit is a compact scooter designed especially for urban settings, with reduced chrome and painted exterior parts for obvious purposes: to avoid scratches due to frequent parking in crowded conditions. This model is powered by EEC-approved 50cc/125cc four-stroke engine with maximum speed of 50/85 kph, making it virtually ideal for most riding needs within city limits where typical rides do not exceed 25kms.

The Citycom.300 is a new high-end scooter designed with 16-inch diameter wheels, different and safer from the smaller counterparts seen on most Taiwan-made scooters, to not only improve riding comfort but also safety on urban roads, where potholes and other ruts have caused lethal falls across Taiwan due to excessively-small wheels. The Citycom.300 features a single-cylinder 264cc four-valve engine that is liquid-cooled,  making for a very practical commuter; while its halogen headlamp rounds out a highly-urbane package.

The QuadRaider 600 is the most powerful ATV produced by SYM. The new model works well on streets or off-road, with outstanding load-carrying capability. The powerful machine features enlarged luggage box, streamlined 4x4 SUV-like styling design with powerful engine, on-command 2WD/4WD/Differntial-lock transmission, incomparable two-rider comfort, unique ATV characteristics enabling multi-functionality as a vehicle for trail riding, hunting or cruising.
